Designer Black T-Shirts

Blackt1

We should perhaps start by apologizing to our Swedish readers for the image above (and no...we're not translating it for those of you that don't speak Swedish). We don’t mean anything by it but since we were on the subject of black t-shirts (you might remember that we wrote about the Skuls collection a few days ago) we couldn’t resist mentioning an interesting graphic design project organized by one of our friends, the designer Martin Kvamme.

Earlier this year, Martin together with Henrik Svanevik, from the Robot store in Bergen, organized a limited edition series of black & white t-shirts. Ten different designers were invited to create a series of t-shirts that were then produced in extremely limited numbers (only twenty copies of each!) Not only do we love the designs but we’re impressed by the interesting list of designers involved in the project. Blank Blank, Are Kleivan, Grandpeople, Kim Hiorthøy, Non-Format, Rui Tenreiro, Halvor Bodin, Teipu, Yokoland and Martin himself contributed designs for the project. Take a look at the full series of designs below:

If any of you want to get hold of these t-shirts, we have to warn you that many of the designs proved very popular and sold out almost immediately. If you're lucky, some might still available from the Robot store.
