Fashions For A Divine Utopia

M1

Mundi draws inspiration from a time not so long ago when people still believed in a future very different from today – a world of dynamic interactive and integrated environments rolling gently toward a divine idealistic Utopia. A future that is striking, exquisite and bright, in which we all love each other and everyone flies around in cars that run on pure air.

Knitted tops, extended and warped wearable shapes, all designed to look best in zero gravity. Using wool in totally new ways - the heavy gauge knit gives the clothing a more pixelated look...almost as though the images have been downloaded from online and then knitted out of a futuristic printer.

Based in Iceland, Mundi Designs claim that all of their best work happens in a semi-coma state of deep creative exhaustion... and generally when they should be doing something else. Take a look below at some of the amazing designs from their AW 08 collection and sure to watch the video from their highly popular catwalk show during the recent Copenhagen Fashion Week.
