We love the quiet confidence and simple elegance of the latest collection for women by the Norwegian fashion designer Peter Løchstøer. Comprising of a range of timeless essentials with a strictly muted color palette, the new pieces are designed to blend easily with existing wardrobes.Easily allowing outfits to be dressed up or dressed down, be it for work or for play. Take a look below to read more about Peter Løchstøer and to see the new AW 2011 Collection:
Originally from Slemmestad, Norway, Peter Løchstøer now lives and works in Oslo. Since completing his studies in Birmingham and London, the designer has been busily involved in the fashion industry in both Scandinavia and the UK. Having taken a look at his long resumé (too complex to summarize here), it is difficult to understand how Peter has ever found time to create his own collections. Despite launching his new label, there´s no sign that Peter is slowing down; he is currently Chairman of the Norwegian Fashion Institute, having been a highly active board member since 2005.
Peter Løchstøer´s designs have twice been nominated for Nåløyet (Hennes magazine´s design prize) once in 2003 and again 2005. Back in 2004, he won the Ikea prize for best collection at Oslo Fashion Week.
